On September 24, 2026, Liang Nan, Deputy Administrator of the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), met in Beijing with Veronique Laporte, Seychelles' Minister of Transport, Ports and Civil Aviation. The two sides exchanged views on strengthening China-Seychelles aviation connectivity and facilitating the movement of people and trade between the two countries. Jacqueline Moustache Belle, Seychelles' Ambassador to China, also attended the meeting.
