Hangzhou Inbound Travel Vouchers Now Available to Foreign Visitors via HopeGoo
On September 23, 2026, HopeGoo — the international travel platform under Tongcheng Travel — launched the 2026 "Hi, Zhejiang" Hangzhou inbound travel vouchers. Foreign nationals and users from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, China can claim discounts on hotel stays and attraction tickets.
- Discounts: 20% off hotel bookings with a single order of 210 yuan or more, capped at 210 yuan off; 20% off attraction tickets, capped at 60 yuan off.
- Usage rules: Vouchers are valid for 7 days from the date of claim. Each user may use one voucher per category during the entire campaign period.
- Booking window: Vouchers in this batch can be used for check-in and attraction entry dates up to December 31, 2026, and for hotel check-out dates up to January 1, 2027.
- How to claim: Open the campaign page titled "Explore Hangzhou, Gifts for Inbound Travellers" in the HopeGoo app, claim a voucher, then book participating hotels or attractions in Hangzhou marked with the voucher icon. The discount is applied automatically at checkout.
- Issuance period: The first batch of vouchers is issued from September 23 to December 25, 2026, with the first campaign cycle running through December 31, 2026.

Hangzhou had already launched inbound travel vouchers on May 19 this year, covering six core elements of travel to build an end-to-end incentive system: transport discounts as the base, accommodation discounts as support, attractions and performances to draw visitors, and dining and shopping to add further value. Those vouchers were issued through ZheJiangTravel, the province's official culture and tourism service platform, and could be claimed via H5, the WeChat mini program or the Alipay mini program. This time, the vouchers are issued directly on HopeGoo, marking a shift from simply participating in bookings to taking on the issuance of a government-backed voucher programme.
According to HopeGoo data, the current period is a peak window for autumn inbound travel. The top ten source markets for September inbound autumn travel orders are Hong Kong, China; Macao, China; Malaysia; Singapore; Thailand; South Korea; Russia; the United Kingdom; Germany; and France. The platform supports payment in 16 currencies and multilingual interfaces, and covers flights, hotels, train tickets, attraction tickets, ferry tickets and local experiences.
