一学期研修生语言要求：国际中文教育、汉语言文学、中国历史、中国哲学等方向，中文水平考试成绩达到 HSK（三级）180 分，具有 HSKK 成绩。
申请渠道：申请开始时间为 2026 年 3 月 1 日，须同时在国际中文教师奖学金报名网站（http://www.chinese.cn）和南京大学国际学生在线服务系统（http://istudy.nju.edu.cn/）进行网上注册与申请，学习项目请选“国际中文教师奖学金”。
报名费：材料初审通过后须尽快支付报名费——硕士 600 元；本科、一学年研修、一学期研修 500 元。
申请截止日期（以北京时间为准）：2026 年 9 月入学为 5 月 15 日；2027 年 3 月入学为 10 月 31 日。奖学金申请截止后由中心委托专家组集中评审，于入学前约 3 个月完成评审工作并公布结果。
通用材料：护照照片页扫描件；HSK、HSKK 成绩报告（有效期两年）扫描件，纸质成绩单未收到前可使用网上成绩截图；推荐机构负责人的推荐信；学习计划（汉语学习背景、来华学习计划及学习目标）。
本科或硕士申请者另需提交：最高学历证明（非中英文需公证）；在校学习成绩单（非中英文需公证）；国际中文教育专业硕士须提供两名副教授以上职称导师的推荐信；中国语言文学类本科须提供来华留学本科入学学业水平测试（CSCA 测试）成绩单（科目：文科中文、数学）；体格检查记录（效期 6 个月）；无犯罪证明（有效期 6 个月）。

除上述要求外，在职中文教师申请各类奖学金，可提供就职机构出具的在职证明和推荐信，同等条件下优先录取；在各类汉语桥比赛中获得“国际中文教师奖学金证书”者，可凭奖学金证书向目标接收院校提交申请材料。未满 18 周岁的申请者，须提供在华监护人署名的在华监护确认书。

校方明确，申请材料不完整或不符合招生条件的概不受理；申请材料弄虚作假或非本人填写提交的，一经查实将取消申请资格。学历生须参加年度评审。入学体检不合格、中途退学或未经许可不按时报到、休学等情况，将取消奖学金资格。

Nanjing University: 2026 Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship

The School of Overseas Education at Nanjing University has published its admission details for the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship. There are four categories — undergraduate, master's, one-academic-year trainees and one-semester trainees — each with its own language score requirements, application channels, document checklist and deadline. For enrolment in March 2027, the application deadline is 31 October.

Categories and age limits: undergraduate, master's, one-academic-year trainees (aged 16–35) and one-semester trainees (aged 16–35).
Enrolment and funding period: one-academic-year trainees enrol in September 2026 with 11 months of funding; one-semester trainees enrol in September 2026 or March 2027 with 5 months of funding. As a rule, applicants who have received the same type of scholarship within the past three years are not admitted.
Language requirements for one-academic-year trainees: for the International Chinese Language Education track, HSK Level 3 with 270 points and an HSKK score; for Chinese language and literature, Chinese history, Chinese philosophy and similar tracks, HSK Level 4 with 180 points and HSKK Intermediate with 60 points; for the Chinese language training track, HSK Level 3 with 210 points, with HSKK holders given priority.
Language requirements for one-semester trainees: for International Chinese Language Education, Chinese language and literature, Chinese history, Chinese philosophy and similar tracks, HSK Level 3 with 180 points and an HSKK score.
Where to apply: applications open on 1 March 2026. You must apply online through both the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship website (http://www.chinese.cn) and Nanjing University's online service system for international students (http://istudy.nju.edu.cn/), selecting “International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship” as the study programme.
Application fee: once the preliminary document review is passed, the fee must be paid promptly — 600 yuan for master's applicants; 500 yuan for undergraduate, one-academic-year and one-semester applicants.
Deadlines (Beijing time): 15 May for September 2026 enrolment; 31 October for March 2027 enrolment. After the deadline, an expert panel commissioned by the centre reviews applications and completes the review and announces results about three months before enrolment.
Documents required of all applicants: a scanned copy of the passport photo page; scanned HSK and HSKK score reports (valid for two years) — an online score screenshot may be used before the paper report arrives; a recommendation letter from the head of the recommending institution; and a study plan covering Chinese learning background, study plans in China and goals.
Additional documents for undergraduate or master's applicants: proof of highest academic qualification (notarized if not in Chinese or English); academic transcripts (notarized if not in Chinese or English); for a master's in International Chinese Language Education, recommendation letters from two supervisors with the rank of associate professor or above; for an undergraduate programme in Chinese language and literature, the score report of the Chinese Scholastic Ability Test (CSCA) covering Liberal Arts Chinese and Mathematics; a physical examination record (valid 6 months); and a certificate of no criminal record (valid 6 months).
Recommending institution and contacts: Nanjing University may serve as a recommending institution for the scholarship and selects undergraduate and master's applicants on merit (trainee applications are not recommended); it accepts applications from 1 March to 1 May 2026. In addition, in-service Chinese language teachers applying for any category of the scholarship may submit an employment certificate and a recommendation letter from their employer and are given priority where other conditions are equal. Holders of an “International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship Certificate” won in a Chinese Bridge competition may submit application documents to the host institution with that certificate. Applicants under 18 must provide a guardianship confirmation in China signed by their guardian in China.

The university states that incomplete applications or applications that do not meet the admission requirements will not be processed, and that any falsified documents, or documents completed and submitted by someone other than the applicant, will lead to cancellation of the application once verified. Degree students are subject to an annual review. Scholarship status will be cancelled if the entry medical examination is failed, if the student withdraws or takes a leave of absence, or if they fail to register on time without permission.
